Promise Ahead: Humanity’s global rite
of passage as adversity meets opportunity. Based on thirty
years of work, this is a big picture overview of the human journey
and the critical crossroads we face as “adversity trends”
such as climate change meet “opportunity trends” such
as the communications revolution, the prospects for a promising
future, and how our personal choices will make a decisive difference.
Living in a Living Universe: A unifying vision from science
and spirituality. A stunning view of our universe as a
living organism is emerging from the combined wisdom of science
and the world’s religious traditions. This view is, in turn,
is transforming our view of the world, ourselves, the human journey,
our sense of ethics, and our way of living.
Media Accountability: Mass media that serves
the public interest and responds to challenges to our common future.
Based on more than two decades of organizing, this telecourse assumes
that, to meet the challenges of building a sustainable future, citizens
and communities will need a far better diet of communication through
our mass media, particularly television. It is vital for the public
to bring its collective voice into how our “social mind”
is being used.
Global Consciousness Change: Indicators of
an emerging paradigm. Based on decades of research, this
telecourse explores the most comprehensive and relevant evidence
for a change in the consciousness and mindset of the human family.
Voluntary Simplicity: A search for more sustainable
and satisfying ways of living. Based on his book Voluntary
Simplicity, Duane explores a quiet revolution that has been blossoming
in the U.S. as roughly ten percent of the American public is now
experimenting with ways of living that are outwardly more simple
and inwardly more rich. This telecourse explores the growing trend
of people are pulling back from the rat race and moving toward more
sustainable, satisfying, and soulful ways of living.
